Metrics Matter - from Good to Great Business Analysts
Please join us in welcoming Roxanne E. Miller, author of The Quest for Software Requirements. Roxanne will be sharing her experience on the collection and practical use of metrics in the BA domain.
Business analysts often ask, “How can I convince management of the value of the business analysis role?” Conversely, management or managers of business analysts frequently ask, “How can I get more productivity from my staff?” Moreover, business executives are asking, “How can we get predictable, successful project results?” If you are head of a department, manager of business analysts or a business analysis professional, this track session will provide answers to these questions and more. Learn how to set a business analysis benchmark and start measuring your way up the ladder! Recognized expert Roxanne Miller will provide you with real examples and easy-to-use templates to help you track and measure business analysis improvement. Join Roxanne and discover how to impress the "corner office".
Learning Objectives (at the end of the session, participants will be able to):
- Dashboard — Understand how IIBA’s BABOK might be used to assess current business analysis capabilities.
- Springboard — Identify resources for raising the bar of your own skill sets.
- Scoreboard — Discover how to apply metrics and "model" your success!
There will be an opportunity to chat with Roxanne, and network with fellow BAs. Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
Plan to learn something new!
